The Solar Impulse HB-SIA is a prototype solar powered aircraft. The ultimate goal of the program is to fly a manned purely solar powered aircraft around the world. The Solar Impulse HB-SIA was flown across the United States from San Francisco, California to Dulles airport, just outside of Washington, DC.
