On August 3, 2015 South African Airways began the only nonstop service from Washington, Dulles to Accra, Ghana. We were fortunate enough to attend the event and witness the ceremony in the airport terminal and the takeoff of the Accra bound SAA Airbus A340 from the Dulles field. We stood on the taxi way along side Dulles' runway 30 for over an hour waiting for the South African Airways flight. These are the sites from that visit.
